Why does the world need different biomes?
Due to the earth's tilt and seasons, the different biomes and climates have been made in different areas. These biomes are important because of the different animals and plants that live in these areas, that help upkeep the Earth. There are lots of different ecosystems and communities of humans, animals and plants that have adapted to these areas. If one thing happens in one biome, it could effect lots of biomes around it, and even further away then you think. This would effect other ecosystems and their living too. For example, if a Volcano erupts in one biome, almost every biome on earth with increase temperature by about 2 degrees, leaving ecosystems near it having to adapt to the new conditions. We need to preserve these special places on Earth.
The Polar lands and Grass lands are two very different biomes. This is mainly due to their locations. The polar regions are found at the top and bottom of the earth where it is very cold and away from the equator. Grass lands are found on land in the middle part of the world. Because of their different locations their climates are very different, and this why they have different climate, flora and fauna.
